Design of linear clock
Firla, Marek ; Malý, Martin (referee) ; Svoboda, Petr (advisor)
The main goal of this thesis is to describe the design, construction, and manufacture of linear clocks. The first part describes the current linear clocks design. The second part describes the design of a linear clock prototype. The linear clock is controlled by an Arduino UNO microcontroller unit, the time is measured by the real-time module, the movement of the time indicators is mediated by a pair of stepper motors. Manufacture is done using 3D printing.
A proposal and manufacturing of temporary dental restoration
Jiroušek, Jan ; Sliwková, Petra (referee) ; Sedlák, Josef (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with manufacturing of temporary dental restoration. Theoretical part contains an overview of types of dental restorations and their division, Furthermore it states important properties and division of the dental materials used nowadays. The next point of theoretical part is an overview of the technologies of dental restorations manufacturing used at present. Practical part is aimed at manufacturing of temporary dental restoration by using the digitization by intraoral scanning, design of restoration in CAD software and CAD/CAM manufacturing. The thesis is concluded with discussion comprising a summary and evaluation of the results of single steps from practical part.
Design and production of experimental axle part
Volfík, Jiří ; Slaný, Martin (referee) ; Zemčík, Oskar (advisor)
The content of this diploma thesis is a design of construction and selection of suitable material for upper-carrier part used for racing vehicle, produced by FDM 3D printing with the alternative option to replace an existing part, which was produced by conventional technique of CNC machining. Various versions of the experimental part are analyzed by FEM and compared in terms of safety coefficient with target to select the most appropriate construction design. The chosen version of the model is at the end compared with already existing part, which was also analyzed by FEM.
Robust wheeled robotic chassis
Jirges, Radek ; Chalupa, Jan (referee) ; Bastl, Michal (advisor)
This thesis deals with the issue of the proposal of mobile wheeled robotic chassis. In the introductory theoretical part gives an overview of the division of mobile chassis inclu-ding representatives of each group. In the begining of the practical part describes se-lection of suitable components for the chassis from drivetrain to controlling electronics. Constructional part of this thesis at first deal with selection of suitable material for each part of chassis and than follows construction of these components including decsription of used constructional solutions for each issue. Result of this thesis is robust wheeled chassis fitted with drivetrain and basic electronics.
Lighthouse for maritime communication
Chadima, Jan ; Mašek, Pavel (referee) ; Pospíšil, Jan (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with design and construction of lighthouse model, which will be used for teachning. It describes types of naval signalizacion, which are established by organization IALE in decree E-110. In thesis is described Arduino platform, metods of 3D printing and used materials For model needs was designed printed circuit board with microcontroller ATmega328P, which control RGB LED. Program, which control model, was writed on Arduino platform. Program has nine modes of sea light comunication. It can change periode, color of LED, brightness and turning on power saving mode. The result of this work is a functional model of lighthouse powerd by battery. Model is based on Green Cape Lighthouse in Australia in scale 1:58.
The comparison of 3D printing technologies and the subsequent production of a component
Čuma, Zdeněk ; Sedlák, Josef (referee) ; Jaroš, Aleš (advisor)
The objective of the thesis is a comparison of 3D printing technologies. The essence of 3D printing is described and its individual methods are analyzed in the first part. The second part is focused on the construction of a real component – a suction branch. Other practical parts focus on the production of the component itself using various 3D technologies and subsequent comparison of the printed models.
Description of computer control equipments in FabLab Brno for education
Lesnek, Milan ; Vojáček, Zdeněk (referee) ; Lacko, Branislav (advisor)
Bachelor thesis deals with the construction of laboratory tasks for digitalized manufacture provided by FabLab Brno, on machines for 3D printing, laser cutting and engraving. Tasks are focused at getting acquainted students with modern machines for development and production.
Desing of the carbon cap for the bike's fork
Gallo, Dominik ; Čípek, Pavel (referee) ; Košťál, David (advisor)
This bachelor's thesis discusses problems and solutions of design of the carbon crown for the bike's fork. It shows an overview of the possible implementation of the initial design up to final part. The output will be the crown made of carbon composite by mould pressing. For manufacturing the prototype form will be used 3D printing – Fused Deposition Modeling.
Possibilities of PLA material recycling for 3D printing purposes and influence on mechanical properties
Sedláček, Vojtěch ; Krčma, Martin (referee) ; Koutecký, Tomáš (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with the comparison of mechanical properties of 3D PLA prints during recycling. The recycling cycle proceeded as follows: the printed FDM test specimens from the PLA were pulverised and re-extruded into a filament. This process was repeated three times. Test specimens were tested in each cycle. Tensile tests were performed at room and elevated temperatures. The results show that there was a slight increase in strength. Measurement of the melt flow index showed degradation of the material and its depolymerization.
Design of compact MSLA 3D printer
Korábová, Anežka ; Křenek, Ladislav (referee) ; Haltof, Vladimír (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with design of compact MSLA 3D printer. Main goal of this thesis is to design MSLA 3D printer with emphasis on print quality and minimal easy maintenance. Design is based on gained knowledge from analyse of current products and their technology. Design takes account of the ergonomic aspects and brings new constructional solutions of inner components. The application of the product is not only for designers and modelers, but also for handymen and 3D print enthusiasts.
